Business Problem and Proposition
Businesses understand that in order to be able to carry out developments and deployments in an effective manner, a representative platform Ecosystem is required at key stages in a project’s lifecycle. This statement applies equally to content developers, service platform operators and equipment vendors alike.
Endurance has for many years been outsourcing major broadcast and telecommunication projects for leading players within the industry. We recognise that trying to set up a ‘representative environment’ for each project takes significant time and effort, and is not always possible, leading to the need for further downstream modifications, often post-deployment when costs are far greater. Sometimes parts or maybe all of the equipment required is not available when needed.
Recognition of this problem has led us take the step of building our own ‘typical’ representative Ecoystem.
This facility offers Endurance and its Clients access to a representative broadcast platform for projects such as product development, testing and integration. Clients can take advantage of a pre-integrated ‘end to end’ environment built up from industry standard elements or plug in new elements necessary for a client preferred configuration.
ECO system description
The infrastructure is located in the prestigious Southampton Science Park which is co-located with many other industry leaders such as Sky and Siemens. This location benefits from excellent facilities and is conveniently located adjacent to Southampton Airport and the M27/M3 motorway network.
Methodology
To ensure all projects produce high quality, cost-effective results, our teams adhere to a comprehensive methodology. The deployment methodology combines industry standards, best practices and the collective experience of team members to create a "repeatable" approach that offers customers efficient, predictable deployments.
